CDL School Bus Driver

Position Summary

North West Hendricks School Corporation is seeking safe, dependable, and student-focused individuals to serve as CDL School Bus Drivers. School Bus Drivers play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students to and from school and school-sponsored activities.

Responsibilities

Provide students with sage, dependable bus service Conduct DAILY bus inspections as required Maintain excellent communication between students, parents, staff and administration Verify that routes are correct and safe Perform routine bus cleaning and fueling Comply with all D.O.T. and department paperwork Job Requirements: Must be 21 Years Old Hold or obtain a class B CDL with Student and Passenger Endorsements Good driving record Available during approximate working hours or 6:30 am - 8:30 am AND 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm DAILY Pay Rate: $140/daily for 183 days/year - paid year round Extra pay opportunities for driving on field trips and/or sports trips at $21/hour Sub Pay is $140/daily for CDL Drivers and $21/hr for NON-CDL Drivers Sub drivers are the firs to fill any routes that open up
