Education Instructor- RN (NICU)

JOB SUMMARY

Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster, including but not limited to: community outreach, annual competencies, quality initiatives, orientation, and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education.

Participates in direct nursing care. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education # Bachelor#s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director Minimum Work Experience 2 years in hospital clinical setting Women and Children (Mother/Baby, Perinatal and Neonatal ICU) Required Licenses/Certifications (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).
