RN (Unit Based) Education Coordinator

The Unit-Based Education Coordinator plans and implements clinical education training and professional development at the unit level for the nursing, allied health, and patient care staff at Island Health. The incumbent’s primary emphasis is ensuring unit staff are clinically competent and able to meet the clinical practice needs of the community’s population.

This is achieved through the delivery of evidence-based practice in alignment with Island Health’s mission vision and values. In this role, you will be responsible for the specialty areas within your expertise.
