Qualified Asphalt Aggregate Tester

D&J Construction Company, a leading highway contractor in Louisiana, is seeking a detail-oriented Asphalt Aggregate Tester to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that asphalt paving operations meet required specifications and quality standards.

Position Overview

The Asphalt Tester is responsible for sampling and testing aggregates used in Hot Mix Asphalt production.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate effectively. Monitor and test asphalt aggregates. Ensure all testing and documentation comply with industry regulations and project requirements. Must be willing to train and continue education with the intent to advance to Certified Asphalt Plant QC technician. Additional Information & Requirements: Work hours vary based on seasonal workload, with primarily daytime 10-12 hour shifts. Monday through Friday schedule with some Saturday work required. Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
