Rate of pay: $24.00 per hour The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida. We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Dining Room Supervisor. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.

We currently have the following shifts available: full time The Dining Room Supervisor at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for being the primary Food & Beverage contact until management arrives. Verifies schedules, checks deliveries and carries Food & Beverage cell phone. Provides coverage for any area/server station in the absence of scheduled dining room staff.

The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the following services including but not limited to: Coordinates the seating of the residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner Lead the daily pre-shift lineup for dinner service, ensuring all dining room servers are prepared for service. Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met.

Records meal counts, reservations and additional charges. Complete knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) system. Confers with Director of Food & Beverage regarding dining room status. A minimum of on years Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience within fine restaurant, club, hotel or similar institution. Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests. Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with, and be tolerant of residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors and subordinates.
