Principal Electrical Designer

The Principal Electrical/Instrumentation Designer is responsible for performing detail design activities within the Electrical/Instrumentation discipline.

Essential Functions

Perform complex designs and layouts of One-line Diagrams, E/I Plans, Sections & Details, Wiring Diagrams and Schematic Diagrams utilizing CAD hardware and software. Train and direct CAD Operators and Designers, as required. Review vendor drawings and other documents. #LI-RG1 Requirements Qualifications 10 or more years of design experience in a drafting environment developing One-Line Diagrams, Electrical/Instrument plans, sections and details, schematics diagrams and wiring diagrams.

Minimum of 5 years of CAD experience, including 3D Design Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards. Latest versions of AutoCAD.

Education

High school diploma. Associate's degree or certification from technical trade school preferred. Competencies
