We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused General Practitioner – Dentist to join Healthpoint in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general dental care across preventive, diagnostic, and restorative services, ensuring safe, evidence-based treatment and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of common dental and oral health conditions. Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans. Provide preventive dental care, including oral health education and counseling. Perform general dental procedures within the approved clinical scope of practice, including restorations, simple extractions, periodontal care, and other routine dental treatments.

Interpret relevant dental imaging and diagnostic findings to support clinical decision-making. Identify cases requiring specialist intervention and provide timely and appropriate referrals. Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate initial treatment and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in line with clinical, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

Follow infection prevention and control, patient safety, and quality standards. Work collaboratively with dentists, dental specialists, dental assistants, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in clinical audits, continuous professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Dental Surgery, or an equivalent recognized dental qualification. Valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner Dentist in Abu Dhabi. Relevant clinical experience in general dentistry, with demonstrated competency in routine diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental procedures.

Strong knowledge of current dental practices, infection control principles, and patient safety standards. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
