Peer Support Specialist

Under the administrative supervision of the team lead or Program Director, this at-will direct service position is responsible for assisting members in meeting their expressed goals toward crisis resolution and maintaining wellness while living in the community. The position will utilize lived experience perspectives and training to support client participants at Turning Point Community Programs.

The peer specialist will provide an avenue for active listening and provide messages of hope and recovery. Additional support in areas of advocacy and the connection to local county/state resources will be provided as needed.
