Hiring Unit: Department of Microbiology & Immunology Course Title: Scientific Writing Skills in MIMM Course Code: MIMM 301 Estimated Number of Positions: 2 Total Hours of Work per Term: 45 Position Summary: To answer student questions on the discussion board and via email To set up and correct quizzes To assist in the logistics of grading writing assignments To correct assignments To provide support to students writing their outline and paper Assist faculty members with scheduling meetings with students throughout the semester as well as answer any emails from students.

Host and coordinate a journal club with students. Assist with entering grades into a spreadsheet.

Qualifications

The position is open to graduate students at Mc. Gill University with a background in microbiology and immunology. Exceptional mastery of written English. Language Requirements (if relevant): Effective communication skills in English are essential. An effective communication skill in French is desirable.
