JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS Job Summary: To assess, plan, and implement the nursing care to meet the patients# needs, by following the appropriate policy and procedures of the assigned department.

Education

Position requires an Associate#s Degree (ADN) or diploma program. Registration/Certification/Licensure: Registered Nurse State Licensure Successful completion of Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course required. Experience: Position requires#2 -3#years of related experience. Other Requirements: Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Current ONS/ONCC Chemo/Bio Therapy Preferred Provides 1:1 care to Infusion in-patient population when needed. Must have a current cancer specific certification by an accredited certification program or ongoing education by earning 12 cancer related continuing education nursing contact hours each year for a total of 36 CEU#s per accreditation cycle (3 years).
