Fabricator/Welder

Welder / Fabricator / Pipe Fitter IMMEC is seeking experienced Welders, Fabricators, and Pipe Fitters to join our Industrial Services team. We are looking for safety-focused individuals with strong fabrication and welding skills who take pride in producing quality work. Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding Fabricate structural steel, sheet metal, and miscellaneous metals Perform pipe fitting, joining, and related fabrication work Fabricate stairs, risers, handrails, platforms, mezzanines, ductwork, and other components Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, schematics, and specifications Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld materials according to project requirements Operate shop equipment, including shears, presses, CNC saws, and plasma tables Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company and jobsite safety policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, or related industrial experience preferred Experience with MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and manuals Ability to use precision measuring tools, including calipers and tape measures Working knowledge of metals, materials, and fabrication techniques Experience operating fabrication and shop equipment Strong math and measurement skills Ability to accurately lay out, fit, and fabricate components Ability to safely lift and handle materials associated with the position High school diploma or equivalent preferred Vocational training or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification through company-provided training Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork Employment Requirements Candidates must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.
