A Polo Horse Specialist is responsible for the training, conditioning, care, and performance management of polo horses to ensure their readiness for training sessions and competitive matches.
Key Responsibilities
Train and condition polo horses for optimal performance. Assess horse fitness, temperament, and suitability for polo. Develop exercise and rehabilitation programs. Coordinate veterinary and farrier care. Monitor horse health and performance metrics. Assist players in selecting suitable horses for matches. Ensure compliance with welfare and safety standards.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of polo and equine management. Experience training and conditioning polo horses. Strong understanding of horse health and welfare. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
