Field Engineer (Phoenix, AZ) - Austin Commercial

The purpose of this job is to assist the sr. field engineer in providing overall supervision for all field-engineering activities associated with the construction of a project, including a full range of surveying services that are carried out throughout all phases of the work. Responsibilities:1. Reviews contract documents before the project begins and identifies discrepancies between the site layout plans, architectural plans, and structural plans; initiates a request for information (RFI) to the architect, directly or indirectly, seeking clarification of these dimensions2. Utilizing the benchmark provided by the owner, directs a crew in establishing the dimensional control lines and elevations for the project3.
