What you'll be doing As a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll help deliver exceptional service and create memorable dining experiences for our guests by: Greeting guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serving food and drinks to Marriott standards. Providing knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials. Ensuring restaurant, bar, and service areas are clean, organised, and well-presented. Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Handling guest queries and concerns professionally. Promoting menu items, specials, and hotel outlets where appropriate. Following all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures. Assisting with setting up, clearing down, and restocking service areas. Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment. Safety & Company Standards All associates are expected to: Comply with company health, safety, and security procedures. Report any maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions. Complete all required training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards. Protect confidential company and guest information. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues. Build positive working relationships and support team goals. Deliver service that meets Marriott's quality standards and brand expectations.

About You

A passion for hospitality and customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable. Food & Beverage or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required. No supervisory experience required. No licence or certification required.
