Staff Pharmacist - Pharmacy - Regular Part Time

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent is responsible for pharmacy services in the hospital which include: the provision of a medication distribution system that meets the needs of the patients and optimizes safety, efficiency and economy; pharmacotherapy monitoring which includes patient-specific assessment of medications based on diagnoses, allergies, laboratory tests and adverse effects; pharmaceutical care, which includes participating in development and monitoring of a therapeutic plan to improve the patient's quality of life; and quality assurance which ensures that the optimal delivery of patient-focused care is incorporated into daily practice.

The Pharmacist is also responsible for pharmaceutical services (distribution & clinical) to community healthcare facilities.
