General Manager

General Manager At Mc. Alister’s Deli, people come for fresh tastes, fast, friendly service, and a welcoming place they can enjoy—whether they’re grabbing a meal to go or settling in to stay awhile. We’re looking for an energetic, guest-focused leader to help deliver that experience every day. As General Manager, you’ll set the tone for the restaurant, lead a team that’s proud of great service, and help drive performance through strong operational execution, clear communication, and an ownership mindset.

Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to lead and direct staff effectively and professionally. Must meet company performance standards and expectations.

Must participate in all company training and orientations, which may include overnight travel. Must be able to work assigned schedules and required shifts. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and have the physical ability and stamina to perform necessary management job functions. Specific Job Requirements Ownership mentality: You take pride in results, lead by example, and move the restaurant forward with accountability.

Problem-solving mindset: Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems involving multiple variables. Financial leadership: Understand restaurant financial goals and work to achieve them while maintaining exceptional guest experience. Operational standards: Maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety standards aligned with the Department of Health and Mid.
