Primary Teacher (0.2 Replacement)

Primary Teacher: Replacement 0.2 for 2027 Star of the Sea School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher who can build a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports every student. Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity at Star of the Sea School. Demonstrate the use of data to inform teaching programs, that lead to improved outcomes for all students and be able to outline how this is used for extending students.

Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of contemporary, innovative and inclusive pedagogies that focus on student engagement across all curriculum areas. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that prioritises student wellbeing and social and emotional learning, helping students develop self-regulation, positive behaviour, personal responsibility and success as learners.

Demonstrate an ability to influence high-quality teaching and learning beyond your classroom. Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, parents and the broader community Be a dynamic and highly organised educator committed to ongoing professional growth and collaborative learning with a willingness to implement new initiatives.

About You

Support the Catholic ethos at Star of the Sea. Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes.

Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with students, staff and families. The successful candidate will be required to have a Current Teacher Registration in South Australia ​and undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN.
