Title: Senior Copywriter Location: New York, NY Department/Discipline: Copy Senior Copywriter Job Responsibilities: Develop a variety of pharmaceutical marketing, training, and corporate communication materials and programs, including product launch planning and asset creation, journal and banner ads, print and digital brochures/fact sheets, e-mails, video storyboards, web copy, and social media ads Give, receive, and implement feedback from Supervisor and other departments and clients Attend client meetings and off-site workshops as needed Communicate with Supervisor and team members about deadlines, ideas, and questions about projects or processes Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment Maintain up-to-date files on Company’s internal file sharing system Develop resources to assist the Writing and Account teams maintain up-to-date information about product claims, language changes, references, trademarks, etc.
Recognize problems with process or quality of jobs and provide solutions Experience: Bachelor’s degree. 2-4 years of healthcare advertising copywriting experience. Copywriter portfolio, or "spec" portfolio demonstrating strong creative abilities. Excellent oral communication and presentation skills. Knowledge, background and/or interest in science and medicine.
$70,000 - $99,500 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
