Behavior Interventionist Teacher

Behavior Interventionist Teacher QUALIFICATIONS Experience with picture communication systems and/or augmentative communication devices. Ability to pass and utilize therapeutic crisis intervention training provided by RCS. Meets all health, physical and background-check requirements. Hold a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate preferred.

Have both training and successful experience working with students with moderate to severe behavioral problems. Must have successful training and/or experience working with students with Autism. Understand Federal, State and local regulations regarding the identification, placement and discipline of students with disabilities.

Strong Interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.) Strong written and verbal presentation skills Please see attached job description**
