Manufacturing/Plant Manager

Plant Manager Unitex is currently seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the production team in our industrial plant located in Mount Vernon, NY. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 (plus bonus). Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.

• Saturday 6:00am - close (when all jobs are finished). No two days are ever the same. It could be 10-12 hour days. MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS WHEN NEEDED.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain individual and department performance at established standards Directly manage two Assistant Plant Managers, and four Production Supervisors and all plant employees Ensure production levels and productivity goals are achieved Maintain daily reports Hire, Train and discipline employees as a means for achieving goals Oversees high level of quality of product being sent to customers Ensure that Unitex policies and procedures are implemented and followed Job Requirements: 5+ years managerial experience running a plant in a production/service environment overseeing multi-layer management Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting High degree of customer responsiveness Understands production workflow / MS Office Proven ability to manage to standards UNITEX 401 South Macquesten Pkwy Mount Vernon, NY 10550 #unitexmgmt EOE About Unitex: For more than 100 years, our family-run business has been leading the way in the medical uniform and linen rental industry.
