• Pampa, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Flogistix, LP seeks experienced field mechanic with at least 3-5 years’ experience working on General Motors 5.7L Engines. Some Cummins experience helpful as well as coursework pertaining to this field. Candidate will work independently as well as with a team and needs strong customer service and communication skills. The field mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of the equipment. Candidate must have a high attention to detail and manual dexterity. The Field Mechanic will work with various machines and must follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

2 years’ experience in reciprocating or screw compression Build and assemble equipment or mechanical components according to requirements Inspect equipment, engines, etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components Replenish fluids and components of engines and equipment Undertake other duties as assigned Must have a high school diploma/GED Qualifications: Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; kneel; stoop; use hands to handle/feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Will occasionally be required to climb or balance. Must maintain a valid drivers’ license. Must pass and comply with all DOT regulations. Candidate will work outdoors and travel up to 75% of the time or more.
