Student Worker – Student Office Assistant – Goals Gear Up – Atlantic City

Campus Location: Kesselman Hall Department: College Bound/GEAR UP Salary Range: $16.00 per hour Work Hours: 5-10 hours per week Brief Job Overview/Summary The Student Office Assistant will support the office with social media, newsletter development, student-focused content, and basic administrative tasks. Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The Student Office Assistant works in the GOALS GEAR UP Office (Stockton Rothenburg Building) and is supervised by the Assistant Director of GOALS GEAR UP.

• Assist with creating, editing, and organizing content and images for GOALS GEAR UP social media platforms.
• Help maintain and update the monthly office newsletter, including editing text, images, announcements, and resources.
• Conduct a monthly search for scholarships and organize scholarship information to share with students.
• Research and identify college awareness resources, opportunities, events, and information for students in grades 7–12.
• Research and gather career readiness information, including careers, workforce opportunities, internships, and career exploration resources for students in grades 7–12.
• Assist with organizing and entering data into spreadsheets, databases, or other office systems.
• Help maintain and organize digital files, documents, lists, and other office materials.
• Support the office with basic administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications:
• Must be a matriculated undergraduate student at Stockton University.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and social media skills.
• Ability to research, organize, and enter information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
