Start Date 11/06/2026 Length 13 wks Shift Variable Shifts per week 3 Hours per shift 12 Pay Rate Gross Weekly - $2232 for 36 hrs W2 taxable - $20/hr Non Taxable Stipend - $42/hr Description Licensed Practical Nurse Looking for LPNs for our Children/Adolescent Psych Unit. Peds experience is preferred, and psych experience is required Will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays.

Day/Eve shift 07-1930, and 11-2330 Qualifications : Current New York State license; able to be certified/re-certified in CPR. Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience required. Prior experience in an inpatient setting preferred. Must possess excellent\ninterpersonal and communication skill. Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills\nwith patients, family members and other members of the health care team Duties : Able to perform majority of patient care functions needed in an acute care setting with minimal\norientation and supervision.

Greet patients, direct to exam rooms, prepare for exam. Routine assistance\nduring exams: set up trays for injections, measure and record progress of patients, take and record vital\nsigns. Assist with general office duties, reception, appointment scheduling, tiling and chart preparation.\n. Contact various insurance companies to obtain authorizations for physical therapy, l'vlR's, CT's, surgery,\netc.

Contact primary care physicians to obtain referrals on new patients or extensions of referrals on\ncurrent patients. Assist physicians in patient care. Maintain exam rooms and all clinical areas.\n. Administer injections and assist with paps and other procedures. Experience using Electronic Medical\n. Records strongly desired.

Implements nursing care activities under the direction of the primary or\nassociate nurse as outlined in the nursing care plan. Observes and reports patient responses to\ntreatments. Participates in activities related to nursing unit management
