Bilingual Human Resources Intern

Description Join our team! We're hiring for a Bilingual Human Resources Intern in our Whitewater, WI location for this upcoming Fall semester. The Bilingual HR intern will work closely with a multi-discipline HR team. The ideal candidate will be available for 15-20 hours per week during the semester - flexible hours available within the office hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing of candidates and relationship building with the Whitewater community Attend recruiting events and represent Lavelle Industries and our position openings Conduct employment interviews and make hiring decisions for the production workforce Onboard new hires and personify the "warm welcome" of the company culture Maintenance of recruiting metrics Other duties and projects as assigned WHAT MAKES OUR INTERNSHIP DIFFERENT?

REQUIREMENTS

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree focusing on HR or a similar field of study Ability to travel to community events and to the Lavelle Industries headquarters in Burlington, WI (expenses will be reimbursed) Available for at least 15-20 hours during standard business hours (8-5pm) Ability to read, write and speak both English and Spanish fluently IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALITIES: Motivated, creative problem-solver Excellent writing skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain a degree of confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment - emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Word Strong organizational skills
