Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Should have maintenance Experience in 11KV 66KV 415V switchgears, 220 KV GIS 132 KV open yard equipment and protection, generator major overhauling activities, large motor overhauling, transformer, motor & feeder protection relay testing of different makes required. Shall be able to troubleshoot and attend the electrical control circuit problems.

Experience in 220V 110V battery chargers, Inverters and UPS is must. Proficiency in computer application programs like Excel, MS word, and MS Project and experience in computer based maintenance management systems will be an added advantage. Plan and manage time and manpower for executing the combustion inspections and major overhauls and prepare overhaul work details for Electrical Plants Equipment with regard to the units assigned in coordination with Planning Department.

Guide and monitor the progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities, to minimize down time for the equipment for increased plant availability. To provide the required guidance to the supervisor for the engineering investigation of plant defects as necessary and under take other engineering investigation and test work.

Preparing budgetary proposals and technical scopes for the planned works in his area of responsibility. To participate in the identification and correction of engineering problems. Plan and execute routine maintenance job for the specific plant area assigned. To plan and initiate actions for timely procurement of spares so that plant availability is always ensured.

To liaise with other sections for timely completion of the jobs. To implement the companys safety rules and policies in the working level. To carry out other jobs as assigns by his reporting Head from time to time for the interest of overall company goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pumping stations/ treatment plants operation and maintenance (2 years-experience in GCC is preferable).
