Lawyer, Urban Department /Warsaw-based/ PL/2607/URLA About the role: We are looking for a Lawyer who will support the team in the area of real estate law, investment processes and legal risk analysis related to real estate projects. This is not a role focused only on standard contract review. We are looking for someone who enjoys document analysis, complex cases, detailed work and finding answers where the solution is not immediately obvious.

The person in this role will cooperate with teams responsible for real estate analysis, urban planning, project development and transaction processes. The key purpose of the role is to help assess whether project and investment assumptions are legally feasible, what risks may arise and how those risks should be structured, clarified and secured.

We are open to different levels of experience, from junior/mid-level candidates with strong development potential to more independent profiles with real estate experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze documents related to real estate, including land and mortgage registers, administrative decisions, local zoning plans, zoning decisions, easements, agreements and other property-related documents. Support the team in assessing legal risks related to real estate, investment processes and transactions. Verify the legal feasibility of project, urban planning and investment assumptions.

Prepare short, practical analyses, notes and recommendations for the business team. Support real estate due diligence processes. Cooperate with teams responsible for urban planning, project development, transactions and operations. Coordinate with external law firms, notaries, public authorities and other process participants when needed.

Support the preparation, review and negotiation of transaction documents, including preliminary agreements, transaction terms, representations and risk protections. Organize legal risks in a clear way so the team understands what is safe, what is conditional and what may block a project.

Requirements

You may be a suitable Candidate, if: You have a law degree and completed legal traineeship. You have experience or strong interest in real estate, administrative law, spatial planning, investment processes or real estate transactions. You understand, or want to develop strongly in, areas such as local zoning plans, zoning decisions, land and mortgage registers, administrative decisions, construction law, road access, easements and real estate due diligence.

You enjoy analyzing documents, connecting facts and working through complex or unclear cases. You are accurate, curious and persistent when looking for answers. You can explain legal risks in a clear, simple and practical way to business stakeholders. You are independent, well-organized and take ownership of assigned matters.

You have a practical approach to law and want to work close to the real estate market. You communicate in English at a level that allows you to work with documents and business correspondence. Experience in a law firm advising developers, investors or real estate transaction clients will be a strong advantage. In-house experience in a development, investment, advisory or real estate-related company will also be valuable.

Practical experience in real estate due diligence or the administrative side of the investment process will be highly relevant. Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, warehouse, data center or renewable energy projects will be useful. Client Offers: Attractive salary adjusted to experience level.
