High School Girls Assistant Basketball Coach

The Crawford County R2 School District seeks a High School Girls Assistant Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 school year. The coach will work under the supervision of the athletic director and head coach following CCR2 and MSHSAA Board Policies. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development.

Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate adequate knowledge of the skills and strategies of basketball. The coach must attend all games and practices during normal, after-school practice hours, Tuesday-Saturday, and during the set practice window on Mondays.

The stipend will start at step 1 of the Extra Duty Stipend Schedule and increase by one step each additional year as a Cuba coach.

Requirements

Substitute Certificate Completion of all required NFHS, MSHSAA, and CCR2 required training.
