Gear Grinding Machinist

**Responsibilities**

Operate and program CNC gear grinding machines to produce high-quality gears. Perform gear cutting and finishing operations according to specifications. Use calipers and other precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure compliance with tight tolerances. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders related to aerospace components.

Maintain equipment and troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime. Ensure all work meets aerospace industry standards and quality requirements. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and product quality.

**Qualifications**

Proven experience in CNC gear grinding and gear cutting. Strong knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Experience working with tight tolerances, especially in aerospace manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. ```
