Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care

Location: Louisburg, KS Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Pay: $30-$38 per hour, based on licensure and experience

About the Position

We are hiring a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for a pediatric client in Louisburg, Kansas.

This weekday daytime position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and families. The assignment includes respiratory monitoring, prescribed treatments, and feeding support. Care must follow provider orders, the established plan of care, and the nurse's professional scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the client's condition, respiratory status, and oxygen saturation using continuous pulse oximetry; promptly report changes to the clinical supervisor.

• Provide prescribed suctioning, nebulizer treatments, medications, and other ordered nursing care.

• Assist with bottle feeding using prescribed thickened liquids, follow feeding precautions, and monitor intake and feeding tolerance.

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, follow infection-prevention procedures, and communicate effectively with the family and clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license authorizing practice in Kansas and current CPR/BLS certification.

• Demonstrated competency in the pediatric respiratory care and feeding support required for this assignment.

• Pediatric nursing or private-duty home-care experience preferred.

• Dependability, strong communication skills, and the ability to reliably commute to Louisburg and work the stated schedule.
