Commercial Lawyer

This role is based in United Arab Emirates . The successful candidate will be required to relocate with full relocation support provided, including visa sponsorship and covered relocation costs such as flights and associated expenses. Job Description: We are looking for a Serbian -qualified lawyer with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a top-tier international firm in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai).

Responsibilities

Advise on corporate and commercial transactions with a cross-border element, including M&A, joint ventures, and restructuring. Work on international tax structuring and compliance matters in coordination with the client’s global team. Draft and review contracts, shareholder agreements, and other corporate legal documents.

Conduct legal research related to Serbian and international corporate and commercial law. Support clients on regulatory matters affecting cross-border operations. Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and external stakeholders across jurisdictions. Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies when required.

Requirements

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Valid passport and eligibility for a UAE work visa. Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi or Dubai within 30–60 days of offer. Ability to adapt to new jurisdictions and handle complex international legal work. High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a client-service orientation.

Qualifications

Serbian law degree and admitted to the Serbian Bar . 1–3 years PQE , ideally trained at an international or top-tier Serbian law firm. Strong interest and ideally some exposure to cross-border work in corporate, commercial, and/or tax law. Demonstrated legal drafting and research skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in multicultural environments.
