• RICHMOND, VA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $13.00 - $15.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Server/Service Attendant, The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable, polished, and guest-focused Seasonal Afternoon Tea Service Attendant to support our Afternoon Tea service. This role helps create a gracious and memorable guest experience through attentive service, a well-maintained dining environment, and thoughtful attention to detail. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative hospitality team. Key Requirements Availability: MUST be available to work Monday through Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Experience: Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred. Professionalism: Must maintain a neat, well-groomed, and polished appearance. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and a courteous, guest-focused approach. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and perform light physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting, maintaining, and resetting tables and service areas for Afternoon Tea. Provide attentive and courteous service to guests throughout their tea experience. Deliver tea, food, and other service items promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas.

Restock service items and supplies as needed. Communicate with team members to support smooth and efficient service. Respond to guest requests and assist with special needs or preferences. Follow established food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
