CDL A Truck Driver

Welcome to Bear Pack Logistics, a Veteran owned company and a transportation contractor for Amazon and FedEx. We’re approaching our 5th year in business, with operations in the Greater Cincinnati area as well as Columbus, OH and we’re looking to grow our team. This position is open to all CDL-A license holders with one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience and offers excellent opportunities for career growth and additional hours.

About the Role

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our team for the FedEx side of the business. This position involves local tractor-trailer operations, primarily focused on morning deliveries and afternoon pick-ups within a 30-mile radius of West Chester, OH. You will be responsible for transporting loaded trailers from a FedEx facility, making deliveries, and then collecting freight for subsequent transport. Operate a tractor-trailer for local deliveries and pick-ups. Transport loaded trailers from FedEx facilities. Potentially work on the Amazon side of our business to allow for additional earnings and bonuses. Schedule: Morning deliveries (5-10 stops) and afternoon pick-ups (loading trailers). Adhere to 4 day - 11 hour work day: Wednesday
• Saturday work schedule. Pay & Benefits: $25 / hour ($24/hr as base wage + $1/hr for performance pay; showing up on time, safe driving and covering assigned shifts) + bi-annual wage increases of $0.50/hr Monthly bonuses available up to $250 / month $1,000 for drivers who START by December 13 and pay out once the driver completes 90 days of employment. Vacation: Earn vacation time at a 4% accrual rate. Full benefits package offering medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, PTO and 401K with 4% match.

Qualifications

Valid CDL-A license. Minimum 1 year of CDL-A tractor-trailer driving experience. Doubles endorsement (candidate must previously have or have the ability to obtain).
