Position Summary

Derby KS Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (with potential for growth; not guaranteed) Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as Temporary Worker. This role supports our machine shop and plays a key part in daily operations utilize a wide variety of hand and mechanical tools to deburr and polish machined parts.

Job Purpose The Deburr Technician position will work in collaboration with the Manufacturing Team to utilize a wide variety of hand and mechanical tools to deburr and polish machined parts.

Duties & Responsibilities Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times. Polish, clean, break edges and produce a matte finish on precision machined parts made of a variety of materials to specified requirements and tolerances. Utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, and specifications, written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements.

Identify and report defective equipment, materials, and faulty operations to supervision. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Maintain safe working practices and ensure area is clean and free of any possible unsafe situations. Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity and the desire to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsible for deburr and finish operations on the appropriate jobs in the order needed to meet production schedules. Ensure all parts of paperwork and documentation are completed properly. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• (1-3) years of Deburr experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided for specific job assignments. While this is a temporary position, there may be opportunities for growth based on performance and business needs; however, continued or permanent employment is not guaranteed. Temporary Full-Time employees are non-benefit eligible. Candidates must be able to consistently work scheduled hours.
