Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Ashford with the recruitment of a Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join a highly regarded and successful accountancy practice. Depending on your experience and career aspirations, the position can be tailored towards either a personal tax focused role or a broader mixed tax capacity.

You will manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting the wider tax team and contributing to the continued growth of the department. The position will involve a combination of compliance, tax planning and advisory work.

Responsibilities

Managing a varied portfolio of tax clients Reviewing and preparing complex tax returns Providing proactive tax planning and advisory services Supporting clients with a range of personal and wider tax matters Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team Supporting the development and training of less experienced colleagues Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients Assisting the partners with more complex tax assignments Requirements Strong tax experience gained within an accountancy practice ATT, CTA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous Strong technical knowledge of UK taxation Experience managing a portfolio of clients Excellent communication and client relationship skills Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues would be beneficial Benefits £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience Private healthcare Performance related bonuses Comprehensive benefits package Excellent career development and progression opportunities Supportive and professional working environment A role tailored to your tax experience and long term career aspirations For more information or a confidential conversation, contact Tristan Finch at TPF Recruitment on 01227 533 007 or email tristan@tpfrecruitment.
