If you have the ambition, we will support you every step of the way! The internship in short The programme kicks off end of March and will last for 10 weeks (full-time). As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking.

Wealth & Asset Management The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.
WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.
What You Will Do
As a Growth and Market Intelligence Intern, you will join SEB Private Wealth Management West and contribute to the strategic project Win the West
- Growth Opportunity Mapping. Your assignment will be to identify and analyse future growth opportunities across West Sweden and within SEB's international client base. You will conduct a strategic mapping of key wealth segments in West Sweden, including entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, foundations, forest owners, real estate investors, high-net-worth individuals and influential industry clusters. In parallel, you will support SEB's International Desk by exploring potential cross-border wealth management opportunities within the bank's existing client base, including Sweden-related opportunities connected to Luxembourg.
- Gather, structure and analyse market, company and client-related information
- Map important wealth segments, companies, networks and industry clusters in West Sweden
- Identify potential prospects and business opportunities within SEB's domestic and international client base
- Develop a West Sweden Growth Opportunity Map with recommendations on priority segments and networks
- Contribute to an International Opportunity Pipeline focused on prospective clients and cross-border business opportunities
- Prepare clear presentations, analyses and recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues across Private Wealth Management and other relevant parts of SEB Through the project, you will provide actionable insights supporting SEB's growth and client acquisition strategy in West Sweden as well as the division's international ambitions. Who Are You? You are a curious, analytical and commercially minded student with a genuine interest in business, entrepreneurship and wealth management. You enjoy exploring complex questions, identifying patterns and transforming large amounts of information into clear and relevant business insights. You are structured and comfortable taking ownership of an assignment from initial research to final recommendations. You enjoy working independently while also collaborating with colleagues across different teams and areas of expertise. To succeed in the role, you should be interested in understanding how companies, entrepreneurs, business families and investment networks create and manage wealth. An interest in West Sweden's business community, international business, cross-border wealth management or business development is considered an advantage.

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field
- You have completed at least two years of university studies
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gather, structure and evaluate information from multiple sources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written skills in both Swedish and English
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive project work forward
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience of market research, data analysis, business intelligence or project work is considered an advantage
- An interest in entrepreneurship, company ownership, financial markets or international business is considered an advantage
