Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Reports to: Production Superintendent Location: Arteaga, Coah. The objective of a production supervisor is to ensure the daily production schedule is met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, in alignment with customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and communicate the daily activities with the Team Leader and team members to ensure production requirements are met. Actively participate in cross-functional teams with different support departments to resolve quality, safety, and productivity issues. Ensure MOD personnel are properly trained in different operations to develop team members’ skills and support their internal growth through operation certification, achieving multiskilling capabilities.

Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and activities aimed at reducing scrap rates across different production lines. Supervise the proper implementation of strategies in coordination with Human Resources to improve absenteeism and employee turnover rates. Continuously follow up on and audit Team Leader activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity objectives are achieved.

Continuously monitor and review SQDCM boards, involving support departments to promptly address any identified deviations. Work closely with the Maintenance department to prevent downtime caused by equipment failures on production lines. Perform all responsibilities to the highest standards, promoting productivity and continuous improvement to ensure business sustainability and growth.

Demonstrate zero tolerance for unsafe acts and conditions, maintaining a strong commitment to compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and policies are effectively implemented across all areas under their responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position. Ability to interpret technical information, including drawings, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Performance indicator management and monitoring. Personnel management. Time and motion studies. 5S methodology. Problem-solving skills.

Continuous improvement tools. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Autonomous Maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Intermediate English proficiency. Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949:2016 standards. Lean Manufacturing.
