We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our Oncology department. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Shift: Part-time (48 hours every-two weeks) Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 3-4 day(s) a week (M-F) Candidate needs to have the following: ARRT (RTT) BLS Certifications One year of recent Radiation Therapist experience preferred Strong communication and adaptability skills Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Responsibilities As a Radiation Therapist, you'll administer radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise delivery of treatment plans for optimal care Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of radiation doses Monitor patients during treatments, assessing their physical condition and reporting any adverse reactions Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols Work with multidisciplinary staff within the department to care for patients About Fitzgibbon Hospital To be a Leader in Community Health.
