Position Summary

Responsible for fostering and maintaining high levels of customer service with our clients, our manufacturers partners, and salespeople. Works under immediate supervision. Core Technical Knowledge Product Literacy : Cross-reference capabilities for major brands like Signify (Philips), Ledvance (Sylvania), and Current (GE).

Technology Transition: Guides clients from legacy HID, T5, T8, and T12 fluorescent systems to modern LED products. Component Matching: Pairs the proper driver or ballast with the exact lamp type for optimum solutions. System Metrics: Understands and can explain technical specifications, including color rendering index (CRI), color temperature (CCT), lumens, and voltage compatibility.

Entry Level Luminaire Competency; Basic knowledge on lighting and fixture selections for specific applications. Position Responsibilities: Competent communication skills via email, telephone or in person Ensure customers are satisfied and any resolutions are communicated Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken Responsible for all aspects of quotation and support for order entry Provides proactive shipping information to customers Works to solve customer problems Responsible for producing technical information when required Responsible for all aspects of customer service Other duties as assigned by manager Essential Skills: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in related area.

Must have problem solving ability Must have excellent math skills Understanding new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminolog Must be proficient on Word, Excel, Blue Beam, internet research, and Outlook
