This role supports safe and efficient operations by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated equipment. The successful candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while supporting production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and facility systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities according to established schedules. Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems. Install, modify, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform facility maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications

Required High school diploma or GED. Technical degree, apprenticeship, military training, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred. Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments. Preferred Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience. Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits. Experience with automation, robotics, conveyors, or manufacturing equipment.

Welding and fabrication experience. Forklift and aerial lift operation experience. Experience Levels Level II Consideration 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment. Experience reading electrical schematics and performing equipment repairs with minimal supervision.

Level III Consideration 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Advanced troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems. PLC troubleshooting experience preferred. Experience supporting equipment upgrades, process improvements, or automation projects. Ability to mentor and train less experienced maintenance team members.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in various positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and around manufacturing equipment as required. Ability to safely use tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
