Summary: Responsible for creating an environment of service excellence through positive interactions with patients, their families, visitors, physicians, and hospital staff.

Promotes a “guest first” culture through role modeling outstanding customer service skills and attitude. Greets and directs patients entering the Outpatient Testing Center (OPTC) in a professional manner that follows Silver Cross Hospital’s mission, vision and values. Directs patient flow between arrival, registration, treatment, and departure.

Acts as liaison between patients, their families, visitors, OPTC staff, and at times the referring physician office staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years Registration or Hospital Operations experience. Bi-lingual preferred. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (approximately 75%-80% of shift). Must demonstrates strong communications skills and be committed to customer satisfaction. The expected pay for this position is listed below: $19.45 - $24.32 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
