Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! The Hammond. Care Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Scone. From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.

As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in a residential care home. Spend time engaging with residents one-on-one or in small groups. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.

Requirements

18 years or older

• NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by Hammond. Care
• We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
