Services Coordinator

Diakon is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries and Diakon Affordable Housing. General Responsibilities: Responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting all programs of Community Services.# Schedules and assigns staff and volunteers for the delivery of Meals on Wheels routes and client home visits.

Accounts for Meals on Wheels client #no answers# and responds to emergency situations. Prepares client records and maintains file system in a timely manner. Receives and responds to telephone inquiries. Education/Training: An Associate#s degree in Human Services or a related field normally required. Bachelor#s degree in related field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years# experience in related positions normally required. ADA: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
