SPARK Before and After School Program

Description: The SPARK Before and After School Program at the Westerhold Early Learning Center is looking for enthusiastic adults to work with children during the hours of 7:00-9:15 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM.

Job Summary

The SPARK Program is a before and after school progam designed to provide quality care for school-age children during early morning and after school hours. These programs offer developmentally age-appropriate hands-on materials that reinforce academic skills. Additional activities include recreation and sports, arts and crafts, games, reading, music, films, time to finish school assignments, as well as free time for the children to pursue individual interests.

Qualifications

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English. High School Diploma District Information: District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $15.00 per hour.
