Cleared UI/UX Software Engineer - Expert

We are looking for talented UI/UX Software Engineers with a TS/SCI security clearance (and active poly) to design and implement web-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders and management to gather requirements, take the lead on technical challenges, and mentor junior team members. In this role, you should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide detailed technical analysis.

What you will be doing: This is primarily a development role, so expect to spend the majority of your time coding or providing technical solutions with a team of engineers.

Writing clean, professional code, and encouraging others to do the same Designing technical solutions given broadly scoped requirements Analyzing user experience, interactions, and usability to develop effective interfaces Creating consistency through component reuse, theming, and style guides Collaborating with other engineers on system architecture, UI/UX concerns, and other application design elements Troubleshooting and debugging technical issues Sharing technical knowledge with other developers What you will not be doing: Spending your days writing user documentation, or designing powerpoint slides Simply installing and integrating COTS products Working with stagnant technologies Writing status reports or justifying career-goal metrics Technical Skills: 10+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in a front-end or full-stack capacity Extensive knowledge of JS / TypeScript, HTML, CSS (Less/Sass), and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.

js, React, Angular, etc) Experience designing high-fidelity wireframes, mockups and other UI prototypes Extensive knowledge of REST APIs, JSON processing, JSON Web Tokens Experience with NPM, Node.js Knowledge of advanced web topics, worker threads, web sockets, storage APIs Knowledge of OO design patterns and software architectural patterns Familiarity with linux operating systems Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployments What you’ll need: Active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI with active poly) Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Willingness to take on challenges and learn new things Desire to be at the forefront of your field Ability to work individually or in groups BS/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience Salary $190,000 - $240,000 per year
