Spa Therapist (paid hourly) Seasonal Contract

Hazendal Wine Estate is searching for a Spa and Wellness Therapist (paid hourly) Seasonal Contract (4 months ) Our beauty Spa on our Estate are seeking for a skilled and customer-focused Beauty & Wellness Therapist to join our team (seasonal contract). The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and wellness, with a solid background in providing a range of beauty treatments.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services while ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting a relaxing, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of beauty treatments such as: Facials Hair removal (waxing, threading, etc.) Manicures and pedicures Massages Skin treatments Eyebrow and eyelash treatments Basic hairstyling or hair treatments (if applicable) Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment rooms, tools, and workstations.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Upsell beauty products and services where appropriate. Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry. Maintain accurate records of treatments and client preferences. Build strong client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a beauty therapist or similar role. Relevant qualification or certification in beauty therapy or cosmetology. Strong knowledge of skin and body care treatments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-oriented mindset with a pleasant and professional demeanour. High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of holistic therapies (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) is a plus. Sales experience in beauty products. Multilingual abilities are an advantage. The new candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager Closing date for this vacancy: 1 November 2026
