Club Management Rotational Intern
Job description
Internship Description: Our Club Management Rotational Internship provides a hands-on experience, through multiple departments to provide a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the private club industry. Our program is customized to meet the needs and interests of the individual to best prepare them for a career in clubs.
This is a paid internship. Internship Functions: Interns should expect to experience all aspects of Club operations, front line roles through team leadership and operations as indicated through their personal goals. Programming includes: Department rotations in food and beverage, culinary, golf, tennis, agronomy, communications, and more Weekly Meetings CMAA Educations Area Club Tours & Networking Leadership Development and Education Access to Leadership Perform other duties as assigned Internship Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills Detail oriented, honest, respectful, dedicated, caring, positive, and enthusiastic Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end, professional environment Desire to make memorable member experiences Schedule/Hours: This internship will begin in mid-May & end in mid-August, there is flexibility based on interns university schedules.
Tuesday-Sunday and will work 32-40 hours each week, with overtime as needed. Like our Service Management Team, our Interns will work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed for operations. Physical Requirements: Perform physical demands of the job including lifting up to 35 lbs is required Ability to climb stairs frequently, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time Ability to work and tolerate all seasonal weather conditions Vision Requirements Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet of more) Education/Experience: Enrolled in a 4-year Hospitality Program Benefits: We enjoy a beautiful working environment to include: Temporary optional housing based on availability Complimentary lunch/dinner during shifts Paid expenses for approved professional development education.
