Engineering & Maintenance Assistant - SISD Job Posting

The Engineering & Maintenance Assistant helps maintain vessels, facilities, vehicles, and equipment. This entry-level position is designed for someone interested in mechanics, engineering, construction, maintenance, or other skilled trades. Typical duties may include: Assisting experienced employees with routine maintenance Organizing tools, equipment, and replacement parts Cleaning machinery and work areas Helping perform equipment inspections Recording basic maintenance information Assisting with preventative maintenance Helping troubleshoot simple equipment problems Learning the proper use of hand and power tools Reporting damaged or unusual equipment conditions Following workplace and equipment safety procedures Qualifications: Applicants should enjoy hands-on work, be willing to learn, follow safety instructions carefully, and be comfortable working around machinery.

Previous mechanical experience is helpful but not required. Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week. Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour.
