Sr. Foreman (Mech)

Primary Purpose of the Job Manage, supervise, and control contract execution for preventive and corrective maintenances activities of mechanical and utility system / equipment for assigned assets and facilities to ensure high availability and reliability of the utility systems, piping, WWTP and infrastructures at RLC.

Enforce implementation of QATARENERGY-Corporate Design and Construction regulations, policies and standards. Required Experience and Skills Minimum of 5-7 years of total mechanical trade experience preferably in Facilities & Utilities in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical process industries. Working knowledge of discipline activities (methods, materials, practices and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of associated facilities/equipment).

Experience in execution of maintenance schedules, and support for budgeting and estimating. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Good PC knowledge of MS Office, maintenance software and SAP Maintenance skills Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work.

Ability to assign and supervise workers. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, employees and contractor staff. Good oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage. Educational Qualifications Mechanical engineering diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized university or institution.
