Assistant Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead Teacher: Assist in planning and implementing daily activities that promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, providing attentive care and positive guidance. Classroom Environment: Help create and maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom space that fosters learning and creativity.

Engage with Children: Interact with children through play, learning activities, and one-on-one attention, supporting their growth and development. Communicate with Parents: Assist with maintaining open communication with parents/guardians about their child’s progress and daily activities. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Lead Teacher and other staff members to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Support Classroom Management: Help implement positive behavior strategies and assist with the management of classroom routines.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma. Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and growth. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
