Senior Software Engineer / Task Manager

Job Description: SEACORP's Virginia / Ohio Replacement Business Area is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer for its Middletown, RI location to support the Weapons Analysis Facility at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

Job Responsibilities

Develop software primarily in C/C++, Java, Python, and Qt / Py. Qt. Provide day-to-day technical leadership for a small software development team. Coordinate tasking, priorities, and development activities across team members. Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and demonstrate progress.

Participate in software architecture, code reviews, and technical planning. Support integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in a secure lab environment. Engage in Atlassian-suite activities such as providing comments in JIRA, performing code reviews in Bitbucket, sharing. documentation in Confluence, and adding/analyzing test results in Bamboo.
